At this point in my life, I heard this song today, and I think its just fuckin hilarious.

So, I'll start the proverbial music thread with this song:

I heard this on the radio today, and 25 years later, it still rocks,

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zvoeeq-BH4w

I started to look thru the tunes there, and I do believe Brian Johnson is over 60 years old, check it out, they all still got it. Definitely a rock icon band:

Stevie Ray, you really gutta dig the blues for this guy.

I want you to watch the way he plays his guitar, like it's a part of him, southern rock and roll at its finest moment. I cried when he died, seriously, I cried, he was killed in a helicopter crash:

Sometimes you just feel like life is a tightrope:

Ooh Crashy, nice tunes.

I was much surprised at the classical piece, didn't expect that from you.

So here is mine, Mozart concerto number 21:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=df-eLzao63I

Tchaikovsky, 18th 12 ovature, played by none other then the Boston Pops, on the 4th of July, which is a huge holiday here, this is the piece that starts the fireworks, when you hear the cannons go off, which are real cannons, its crazy. But this is a piece that hits home for me also:

With fireworks, of course you can't hear anything but the fireworks:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_pzCoyhanEk

and without:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FObi2UbewsU

My very favorite Boston Band, probably since I was 10 years old, they have grown old with me:), I think what hits me about this song, is the orchestra, it's very well written, and the power in it. Music does have power.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qt0zOhYjukE&feature=PlayList&p=F9F0E3EB52508AC7&playnext=1&playnext_from=PL&index=43

My something completely different is from the 70's, because it was such a great era of music, and I still do have the music in me:).

Tell it to me slow
Tell me with your eyes
If anyone should know
How to let it slide
I swear I can see you
Coming up the drive
There ain't nothing like regret
To remind you you're alive

The guy I used to date, would sing this to me at every gig he played. If you want beautiful music with lyrics its country music all the way. I'm not a great fan of it, but none the less, this song is beautifully written, and reminds me of unspoken words between two people.

I love the original version by Judy Garland, but this one, has wonderful rhythm. Few songs are as good as the first, but this one is in my opinion better then the first.

I guess you have to dare to dream, since I lost my dream, it hits me tonight.

Nothing like 70's music, yes I am dating myself, BUT, how much has the world changed since then? Same strife and animosity still exists in the world.

Oh and the Temptations ROCKED.

You sound like an angry young man crashy so yet again nothing changes, the first angry young men were Marlon Brando ( dead ) and James Dean ( also dead ) back in the fifties.

And as for 70s music DEEP PURPLE will always be my 70s heros.

I think the best depiction of life, is in this song, and is one of my favorite, it reminds me about growing old, not that I need to be reminded,
